Posted in London, Student Life by Melissa Le Clerc on May 13th, 2014

London has one of the biggest and trendiest clubbing/bar scenes in the world and it literally has hundreds! The range of music is and talent playing on a nightly basis is virtually unlimited, so it really wasn’t easy to pick this 9. We’ve chosen night clubs in various London locations along with different styles of music, so let’s have some fun before you go home for the summer with Nido’s “Top 9 Night Clubs”.

1. Maddox - just 2 minutes’ walk from Oxford circus (depending on your shoes ladies). The extremely posh and exclusive vibes are what Maddox is known for! Maddox host some mind blowing parties with an electric atmosphere meet and greet people and if you are lucky, you can join one of Nido’s upcoming parties hosted by the lovely guys and girls at Maddox. WWW.MADDOXCLUB.COM

2. Penthouse - roughly a 3 minute walk from Piccadilly station - or 5 from Leicester Square. The Penthouse club has 3 floors! The 1st floor is called "The Club”, the second one is called the "View Lounge” (you can see Big Ben – what a view!) and the third is called "The Suite". Every floor caters for a different audience, so we quite like the fact that we can mix it up a little. We really can recommend this club to all walks of student life - there is a night, a floor and a style of music for everyone. If that’s not reason enough to visit then, well, the view is to die for! WWW.THEPENTHOUSELONDON.COM

3. Egg London - in between Kings Cross and Camden town, Egg simply has to be in our top 10. If you sign up for a free student membership at Egg, there are some excellent benefits. As a student you are entitled to a cue jump and get straight to the action, less waiting and more partying! Egg has the best music from the world's greatest DJ and their sound and lighting system is one of the best that we have ever seen. WWW.EGGLONDON.NET

4. DSTRKT - in between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square we have the DSTRKT. DSTRKT just happens to be Europe's premier locations for dining and night life. The venue is known for chic and stylish interior, fantastic crowd and attracting some the big names in talent! Again, another club which comes highly recommended in our view. WWW.DSTRKT-LONDON.COM

5. Fabric London - located in Islington. Fabric’s reputation is well known throughout the clubbing scene and was voted number 4 in DJ Magazine's "Top 100 Clubs in the World". Not bad considering they were up against the two largest clubs in Ibiza! Saturday tend to showcase some of the more underground DJ talent, international electronica acts and of course a large variety of music legends. If electronica is your scene, then Fabric should be on your list with it’s electro, techno and house events coming out on top. WWW.FABRICLONDON.COM

6.Oceana - Watford, not really in London centre, but who wants to party only in a City, right? Oceana is one of the best clubs in the South East, and Watford's only Super Duper Club. Oceana has been host to some absolutely fantastic artists including Mr Calvin Harris and the renowned urban rap legend - Tinie Tempah. Naturally, this is just the tip of the ice berg! WWW.OCEANACLUBS.COM

7. Nottinghill Art Club - this club is located in west London (Notting Hill Gate directly) and serves one of best underground scenes in the region. The excellent range of music which encompasses house music all the way through to Hip Hop, makes this club an excellent choice! We can highly recommend you to visit this club before you leave home! WWW.NOTTINGHILLARTSCLUB.COM

8. Pacha London - just behind Victoria station (not to be confused with the Mayfair Club) but if you are searching for a little paradise, you can find everything you are looking for in Pacha. Pacha brings a whole lot of Ibiza right to your door. The club can be proud of the accolade: “Best Dance Club in London 2013”. Last year a massive £1 million refurbishment took place, and the club was given a fresh look and feel. However, the new look club still plays some of the best house, trance and techno around. WWW.PACHALONDON.COM

9. Bar Rumba - located nearby to Leicester Square boasts the best of commercial music, chart toppers, R&B and pop anthems. Throw in generous happy hours and drinks promotions, a continuous calendar of themed evenings and free guest list entry for group bookings, we brought this club into our list as one of the best London’s clubs! WWW.BARRUMBADISCO.CO.UK
