Success Stories: former Nido residents Abigail Simon

Posted in Student Life, Student Accommodation on Jul 28th, 2014

With locations all around London, there are many exceptional and ambitious people living in Nido Student Accommodation. We provide the perfect location for students to work, focus, socialise and most importantly, live their lives to the full.

Abigail Simon is a professional Ballerina and one of our former residents. While she trained throughout the day mastering her supreme talent, she had the perfect place to come home to in the evenings at Nido.

Abigail is part of an artistic family in the arts as her father is an actor/director and her mother is an opera singer. She has been a ballerina for 23 years and began training at the age of three after being inspired when she watched her first ballet.

She has been part of the Joffrey Ballet Company since 2006 and travelled the world performing in a number of ballets including Arpino’s Kettentanz and Ashton’s Cinderella.

Abigail began her ballet education at Ballet Hispanico and the West Side Academy of Ballet in Santa Monica. From there she progressed to the School of American Ballet and attended a number of summer programs including one at the prestigious Royal Ballet in London when she stayed with Nido.

Nido is proud to support the ambitions of our residents by providing a welcoming and safe environment for students to live in while they face the challenges presented by their studies. Our residences are far more than just a place to stay; they’re a stable and supportive home. Whatever our students want to achieve, Nido aims to do everything they can to help them to achieve it.

Former residents like Abigail prove that with hard work and dedication, people can achieve their ambitions. Whatever your goals may be, Nido can help every resident realise their potential and achieve their dreams.
